Quick History

British came to India in 1608 with the intention of trading as a British East India Company. At first, they came to India with the intention of trade business. As time passed, their mind changed, their wants increased, and as a result, their ruling mindset developed. They ruled on us for more than 100+ years. Under their rule, our people were bullied, forced, etc., to do their work without mercy. It was hard for Indians to live in our own country, ‘Hindustan’.

After that, comes our valour, that is to say, our great freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of India and got independence for our nation on 15 august 1947. In addition, below are a list of some famous freedom fighters who have devoted their lives to the betterment we enjoy today. It is their good deeds for which we Indians are happily celebrating our 75th Independence Day today, i.e., 15th August independence day 2022.

Speech

Good morning respected principal, teachers, and all my dear friends. Today I am standing in front of you to deliver a speech on 75th Happy Independence day. Before moving forward, I would like to wish you all who are present here a very ‘Happy Independence day.’
Today it’s a historic day in the history of our country. On this day, 15th August 1947, we got independence from the British Raj. This day reminds us of our true worth and importance as a independent freedom-loving brave nation. The freedom we enjoy today is the result of decades-long struggles and our great leaders. Great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Subash Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Rani Laxmi Bai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, and many others(more freedom fighters listed above) devoted their entire life to the independence of our country. Their sacrifice for native India can never be forgotten.
We are fortunate to be born in an independent country and have our fundamental rights. Today we have many rights in the Indian constitution. For instance, the right to choose our government.
Since independence, our country has developed in many areas, but there is still a lot to be done and achieved. We must stand up to these expectations and fulfill the dreams of a developed and successful country with peace and harmony.
Thank you
Jai Hind

Conclusion

Let’s sum up, petriots die but they leave an incredible imprint behind. also, they leave behind the sweet memories of martyrdom for the service for the motherland. For instance, in this present world who dosent know Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for his good deeds. On the other hand, thos who dont love the country(India) are the most unwanted persons. On the other hand, they live and enjoy life on the holy soil and dont know how to perform their duty towards their motherland. Most importantly, our India will start to glow when more than 20 crore citizens will host or wave the flag at their respected houses. RUSA Assam wish you Happy Independence Day!
